So, Kason has started running fever today...not good. I hope it doesn't go any further than that. There is some nasty stuff going on around here, I hope we don't catch it. It's amazing to me that with all the vitamins that I give my kids every day that a germ would even dare come near us. Oh well, it has, so we have to figure out how to get them out of our house now. Pray, Pray, Pray!

ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving a comment on my blog. You dont need a grill to make a great steak. If you have an oven and a nice sturdy (preferably cast iron, but not necessary) pan you are good to go. Pre-heat your oven to 500.
Season your steak with canola oil and a good amount of Course KOSHER salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Pre heat your skillet on high heat and sear your steak. About 2 minutes a side. Make sure once you put your steak in the skillet..DONT TOUCH IT, until you are ready to flip. After you have finished searing the steak, pop it into the 500 degree oven for anywhere between 4-7 minutes, depending on how you like it cooked. There you have it...the perfect steak!
